my goal when it comes to this blog is to discuss topics that I think us as a generation all experience to some degree but is not widely discussed. the main theme of this podcast will be overcoming, society, social media, mental health, judgment, jealousy, teen experiences and feelings and the illusion of this teenage dream idea that we need to deconstruct.

this website will be giving light to so many topics that resonate deeply with our generations. I generally love writing deep dives but my goal is to help people come to realizations and learning lessons I wish I learned earlier. even if 1 person genuinely benefits from my work on here its more than worth it. this blog will not be a personal blog necessarily but more of an deep dive into society and our teenage concepts of life

my format will be essay like blog posts giving a deep dive into the topic of the post. the topics will constantly change.

my posts are going to be very impromptu or well revised pieces most are written at ungodly hours at night. they can be very long deeply explained pieces or short straight to the point depending on the topic.

core information

1 post a week, uploaded during the weekends

there will be a poem and song for every post

for this its still I rise by Maya Angelou and “I wanna be down” by brandy

still i rise by Maya Angelou

“You may write me down in history

With your bitter, twisted lies,

You may trod me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

Just like moons and like suns,

With the certainty of tides,

Just like hopes springing high,

Still I’ll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?

Bowed head and lowered eyes?

Shoulders falling down like teardrops,

Weakened by my soulful cries?

You may shoot me with your words,

You may cut me with your eyes,

You may kill me with your hatefulness,

But still, like air, I’ll rise.” – Maya Angelou

the poem is a powerful piece how I interpret it the only way you can fail is if you allow yourself to. nobody in this world can break you besides yourself. I know it sounds cringe but in this life you are only limited to what you think you can do. never let peoples opinion effect your belief in yourself.

I genuinely hope you gain some understanding from this blog. feel free to give me any suggestions on topics or any possible improvements. anyways I hope atleast one person benefits from this
